  • Web Galleries Troubleshooting
  • My upload is getting stuck during the creating thumbnails process

  • You will need to make an adjustment to the amount of memory the upload cart is allowed to use. These instructions explain how to do it on a Mac or PC.
  • When I add images to the upload cart it says they can only contain alpha-numeric characters

  • File names can't contain anything other than letters, numbers, and underscores. You will need to rename your files. PC users can download CK Rename a free batch renaming program.
  • The upload looked like it finished but I don't see any images

  • This is usually caused by a security program or firewall blocking the upload from finalizing. We see this very often with customers using Norton or Macafee programs. Restart your computer, disable your security programs, and attempt the upload again
  • When I click on the 'Design Album' link nothing happens

  • The Album Designer opens in a new window and some popup blockers will prevent it from opening. Here's how to turn them off
  • When I try to process my album I get an error that files can't be found

  • If the list of files looks like every one that you've used in the album then make sure that you have double-clicked the folder containing your images. You should see it change to an open folder icon. If that doesn't work or there are only a few files listed then browse to the folder's location on your hard drive and check to see that it contains those files. The file names must match exactly the names of the files you uploaded originally.
  • I can't seem to access my online orders

  • This is usually caused by a popup blocker. This pdf has instructions on how to turn off most of the common ones.
  • I'm not getting email notifications from the site or my customers aren't getting emails that I send via the website

  • You may need to add info@eventproofs.com to your contacts to prevent messages from being blocked as spam. If that doesn't work you could try an alternate address from a free email service like yahoo or gmail. Messages usually go through to their adresses.
  • Do you have any tutorials or troubleshooting guides I can give to my customers?

  • We sure do. You can download these PDFs and either link to them from your own website or email them directly to your customers.
