If you are receiving an error message when you try to launch our LabLink or DirectPrint programs you may need to delete your temporary internet files. If you're on a PC follow the steps below. Mac users can use these instructions.
- 1. First, click the "Start" button, then go to the Control Pannel
- 2. Double click on the Java icon (you may need to click the "Switch to classic view" button on the left in order to see the Java icon)
- 3. Click the "Settings" button under Temporary Internet Files

- 4. Make sure the box labeled "keep temporary files on my computer" is checked

- 5. Click the "Delete Files" button
- 6. Make sure that the two checkboxes are selected as shown below and click "OK"

- 7. Next, double click on your My Computer icon then right-click on your C drive and select Properties
- 8. Click the "Disk Cleanup" button

- 9. Depending on the size of your hard drive it may take a few moments before the next dialog box appears. When it does, make sure that only the following three check boxes are selected, as shown below:
- Downloaded Program Files
- Temporary Internet Files
- Temporary Files

- 10. Once this is complete, close any open dialog boxes and go to the Downloads page to install a new version of LabLink or Direct Print
The program should then download and launch automatically. If you continue to experience difficulties please contact us at 1-800-827-7101 and select option 3 for tech support.
Clearing your Java cache for Mac users
From the Applications folder select "Utilities" --> "Java" --> "Java Plug-In Settings" --> "Cache" --> "Clear Java Cache"
Once this is complete, close any open dialog boxes and go to the Downloads page to install a new version of LabLink or Direct Print
